Winter Diffuser Oil Blends

Today I am sharing with you several heavenly smelling, winter diffuser essential oil blends for your home.

Essential oils are wonderful for many things. In my house, there’s an oil for everything. They are kind of a big deal around here.

I reach for my oils every day. When I am cleaning, when I want to support my body and my wellness, when I want to add some flavor to a dish or drink and probably the most frequent use, making my house smell amazing.

Do you know what is in candles and air fresheners?

The most commonly used ways to add scent to a space is still, unfortunately air freshener sprays and scented candles.

Recently, more and more research is coming forth that links the ingredients found in synthetic fragrances to health problems. There is some really nasty stuff in sprays and perfumed products that can really burden your body and should be avoided when possible.

If you want to read more about the effects of synthetic fragrance and burning scented candles, just google the topic, the evidence is stacking up. The EWG (Environmental Working Group) is also a good place to read about toxic ingredients and alternatives.

So now what? Can I make my house smell great without all that stuff?

Heavenly Winter Diffuser Oil Blends:

Chocolate Mint Cookie –

This combo smells like thin mint cookies. Great for perking up in the morning or that afternoon slump time. Relaxing and calming scent, yet cool and refreshing. And yummy like a baked good!

  • 2 drops Peppermint and 5 drops Stress Away

Sweet and Spicy –

Orange is fresh and sweet, my happy oil. It blends beautifully with the warm and spicy scent of Thieves oil which is a delicious blend of clove and cinnamon and lemon and more. Perfect for a cold winter day, cozying up at home.

  • 4 drops Orange and 3 drops Thieves

Sunny Cider –

Here we go with the orange again, but really it’s that good! So cheerful and smells like sunshine, which we usually need during the winter. Blended with clove, this smells just divine. Sunny and spicy, like cider and warm, happy things.

  • 5 drops Orange and 2 drops Clove

Enchanted Forest Walk-

This blend smells like you are walking through an enchanted forest with snow and twinkly white lights. Yes, that is exactly what this smells like, I promise. Haha! So clean and cool, woodsy and warm, all at the same time. This is also super yummy if you add a drop or two of peppermint to the mix!

  • 5 drops Stress Away and 2 drops Pine

Winter Grove –

This is another great spin on the enchanted forest, only with a sunny, citrus twist! So bright and clean.

  • 5 drops Citrus Fresh and 2 drops Pine

Some things to know about purchasing essential oils

Not all oils are created equal!

No real standards exist when it comes to labeling essential oils and their contents and purity, so please do you research and trust your company.

Please don’t buy “oils” from Walmart or the drugstore. There is no way for the contents to be pure and beneficial essential oils and cost a couple bucks. Some of these “essential oils” are even cut with some nasty ingredients with warnings on the labels!

( I’m not saying this because I want you to “buy my oils”. I’d be happier if you bought Young Living oils from someone else (if you must, lol), than to risk it with who knows what in those cheap oil bottles.

Who wants to go the extra mile to use oils and still be using a product that has junk in it? That wouldn’t make sense!

Friends don’t let friends buy junk oils!

Here is more information on my favorite oils and the only ones I use in my home and on my family.

Read more here about the way I got started with these oils and all about why I’m so OBSESSED!
